Easter Planting

For the last several years we have been planting Easter grass for use in the girls Easter baskets. I have never liked the plastic Easter grass and so when I first heard of the idea of planting grass for the use in Easter baskets you better believe we ran with it. Earlier this week we gathered the necessary supplies, donned fairy wings and headed out to the yard (if only the grass was already green!) to get the Easter grass started. And now we wait. And watch. Soon the bowls will be bursting forth with beautiful shoots of green. With any luck, our world will be in bloom soon too!

  1. That's a lovely idea - and I think butterfly wings should be mandatory for all gardening; it makes it seem so much fun!
