The only thing that could have made this adventure any better would have been if there was some snow on the ground. There is nothing like a journey into the woods (or the local Christmas tree farm in our case!) with friends to really make it feel like Christmas is just around the corner. And honestly, the smell of a tree cut fresh from the woods just can't be beat!
